Bipolar Sim: A Sims 4 Challenge Idea In the Works

Bipolar Sim Challenge. This is a work in progress and I have not tried it out yet.

The general idea: Create a sim who struggles to manage Bipolar Disorder and begin their path to Wellness. In an attempt to mimic the  mood changes associated with this disorder, use a dice or spinner or random number generator to determine when and for how long a sim is Manic, Depressed, or Neutral.

To Complete the Challenge and Become a More Balanced Sim 1.Complete the Wellness Aspiration 2. Max two skills 3. Make two Good Friends.

Example with Dice: Roll to Det. Emotional state where the numbers 1-6 correlate with feeling either Neutral, Manic, or Depressed. Then Roll a Second time to Determine the Length/ number of Days of that Emotional State before rolling again. Odd numbers mean 1 day and Even numbers mean 2 days.

Character (s): Create one Sim with 3 Distinct Looks for each outfit category for each emotional state. Create a Group Therapy club that meets weekly to work toward Wellness skills.

Recommended Traits: Irratic OR Hot Headed and Sad

To further mimic the disorder, Aspiration and game speed can also be changed according to the emotional state. For example: Manic Sims could be played on Faster Speeds and work toward the Mansion Barron or Serial Romantic Aspirations. Objects can be used to get sim in an Energized or Flirty Mood. Neutral Sims can be played at Any speed and work toward Any Aspiration. Objects can be used to get into a Happy Mood. Depressed Sims could be played on Slow Speed Only and work toward the Wellness Aspiration only. Objects can be used to get into a Sad or Angry Mood.

As you progress in the Wellness skill,  your mood swings begin to affect your life a bit less. Adjust the spinner, dice, or number generator to be less likely to result in Long periods of Manic or Depressed Moods. Do this to signify the treatment is helping.

Step 1: Very Volatile This sim is really struggling to find balance. 1-3= Depressed, 4-6 Manic
Step 2: Beginning to Progress This sim has reached level 2 of the Wellness skill, attends Therapy Group regularly, is making Aquaintences with other Sims, and is discovering preferred hobbies/interests.1-3= Depressed, 4= Neutral, 5-6= Manic
Step 3: Much Improved This sim has reached level 5 of the Wellness skill, attends Therapy Group regularly, has at least one Friend, and has Two or more additional Skills at/above level 5. 1/2= Depressed, 3/4=Neutral, 5/6= Manic.
Step 4: Manageable This sim has reached level 8+ of the Wellness Skill, Attends Therapy Group regularly, has 2 Friends and has Two or more additional Skills at/above level 8. 1= Depressed, 2-4= Neutral, 5/6= Manic.
Step 5: Dismissed from Therapy. This sim has mastered the Wellness skill as well as any two additional Skills and has two or more Good Friends. They are no longer required to attend Group Therapy. 1= Depressed, 2-5= Neutral, 6= Manic.
Congratulations. You are ready for the next challenge.

Combine this challenge with the classic Asylum challenge because, why not?
