The Sims 4 Imposter Challenge

You are a con artist and an identity thief on the run from the FBI.Your basic con MO is to Befriend then Move In with and Impersonate your target sim before taking off with their Identity and Simoleons. Collect 5 Identities/Outfits to complete this challenge.

 

To Avoid Capture by the authorities you must follow these rules: 1) No career or job that might require identification. 2) You cannot buy/sell/own a home or be caught camping on the empty lot you claim to own. 3) Change your appearance often and according to who you are claiming to be at the time. 4) Complete the con and Blow town by the end of the season. What kind of Sim would do such a thing?  Personality Traits Recommended: Mean, Self Absorbed, Self Assured.

  This Challenge Begins in Willow Creek and requires some set up for ease of play. The Challenge Should take No Longer than One Sim Year to complete. Normal Lifespan will be Easy. If you want a Challenge, try Short Lifespan. .

First Search the gallery for Young and Single Sims with stories of their own or create your own victims and move them into the Foundry Cove Neighborhood.

Next Create a club with these characters as well as the BFF household. 

Then Move your Player Sim into the empty lot named Bargain Bend but do not build, decorate, or leave anything on the lot, except maybe the Nature Calls bush and travel through the magic tree into Sylan Glade to establish your hideout. (I put a tent, etc. from the Outdoor Retreat Pack) 

Last, Set a holiday reminder to Blow Town after each season (7 days, 14 days, 21 days, one year)

Season 1: The theme is Friendship. You LIE to the neighbors that you are finalizing building plans for your home. The TRUTH is you are hiding out in a tree looking for your target. Target a single young adult sim/s living in the Foundry Cove neighborhood. They have every thing you desire: a home, friends, and some Simoleons. So you will take their identity, their friends, and their money. CON Step 1: Aquatint and Imitate. Aquatint yourself with the neighbors, join the neighborhood club, and Select the target victim. Step 2: Befriend and Lead Become Friends with ALL of the club members and convince the leader to step down. Learn everything you can about your target. Step 3: Best Friend and Roommate. Become Best Friends with target then move into their home (while the final building plans for you home are sorted out...) Twinsies Copy each outfit in each category including accessories to have a whole new identity matching the target/s as best as possible. 

Step 4: Blow Town. No more than one Sim season (Summer, Spring, Fall, Winter) from beginning the challenge, You must move on to the next con to avoid capture. To complete the con,  go on vacation but return early without the target, sell all furnishings, split from household with the Simoleons. With no money, the target will return from vacation and get evicted immediately. Disband the club and Ghost the club members. Remove the target sim from the game if you don't want them turning up at community lots later in the story. 

For the following seasons the con changes slightly and set up is required for ease of play. Place possible target victims into the  neighborhood and create a neighborhood club before beginning the challenge. You can still hideout in the tree or buy a lot in the next neighborhood but don't place anything on the lot. 

 Season 2 The theme is Romance. The  Target is a young couple without children living in the Courtyard Lane Neighborhood. The target has a club of friends, a significant other, a home, and Simoleons. You want it all!

CON Step 1: Aquatint and Imitate Meet neighbors, join the club, select target victims. Step 2: Befriend and Lead Become friends with ALL of the neighborhood club members and convince the leader to step down.  Learn everything about your target sim. 

Step 3: Best Friends and Roomies (until the building plans...) Become Best Friends and move into the household. Once in the home, Romance the spouse.  Twinsies Add additional outfit slots where you will copy the targets look. Step 4: Blow Town. Before the end of the second season/week you must complete the con and move on to the next con to avoid capture. To complete the con, send the targets on vacation, sell furnishings, split from household with the money, disband the club, and ghost the members. The targets should be evicted. 

Season 3 The theme is Family and the Target is a young family living in the Pendula View Neighborhood. The target has a club of friends, a spouse, and a child/children. You want it all! LIE to the 3 Families and begin as a babysitter to each family. As friendship with kids and parents grow  you will be hired as a live in nanny at the target household.  CON Step 1: Aquaint and Imitate Meet families and begin showing up at the neighborhood homes and helping with children, pets, housework, while there. Once you have selected your target family set out to be "hired" Step 2: Befriend and Lead. Become Friends with ALL of the target families in the Neighborhood Club and Good Friends with the target victim. Learn everything you can about them.  Step 3: Live In Nanny. Once you're Best Friends with both parents, you're hired as a live in nanny. Move in and stay Best Friends with one spouse and Romance the other spouse. Step 4: Blow Town. Before the end of the third season, you must complete the con and move on to avoid capture. To complete the con: Send the family on vacation, sell their furnishings, and split from the household with Simoleons. Disband the club and ghost the members.

Season 4 the theme is Inheritance and Wealth. The Target is an established multi generational family in the Sage Estates Neighborhood. They have a Good Family Name and Wealth to Inherit and you want both! CON Step 1: Aquaint and Imitate LIE to the two families and begin to work as a butler, maid, handyman, etc. By showing up and helping out, Eventually you will be hired as live in help. Select a family with two potential identities to steal. Step 2: Befriend and Lead Become Friends with ALL of the the household members and the neighborhood club members. Convince the leader of the club to step down. Step 3: Live In Help. Become Best Friends with Target(s) and Good Friends with the Entire family before you Move In.  Then, Romance the spouse. Step 4: Blow Town. Before the end of the fourth season, you must complete the con and move on from Willow Creek to avoid capture. 

Congratulations. You have enough money and identities to move any place you desire outside of Willow Creek and still evade capture. Or do you? If you Fail to pull the con and blow Town before the holiday ends, you will be captured immediately by the FBI, lose all of the money, and be sent to prison.
